96 corvette seats installed
I was only able to get one picture before my camera died so here ya go...hopeully Terry Rudy will provide me some more if he can forgive me for whipping out a quick 180 in front of his house (sorry 'bout that Terry...) ;)
I made the brackets and powder coated them. There is no adjustability but no one but me drives my car so it works for me. I lost just a little bit of leg room but at 6'1" I fit perfectly. There is also a perfect amount of thigh support where before there was none. The buckets are not so deep that my big butt doesn't fit in it but it holds me in perfectly as do the shoulder supports. I also lost a little head room but I actually like sitting up a little higher in the car. My old seats were extremely worn an I sat really deep in the car so I am probably back up to a stock height. I bought the seats on ebay and after two years of getting outbid my patience finally paid off. Next week I will machine new bolts for the lap belt that will also support a racing harness (the roll bar will hold the shoulder straps for the harness - which will only be installed/used during racing). And then to finish off the interior I will make the parking brake console out of carbon fiber.
I will probably be at the pleasanton good guys show. Hopefully I will see a few of you there.
Speed Demon 750VS for sale.
Cheers

Re: 96 corvette seats installed (munday)
Hey little advice on that leather. One the wear cracks on the leather try Kiwi black shoe polish. Using a rag polish it in and use a white rag to remove till the black no longer appears on your rag. the wear marks may be there but their more blended in. BTW your seats look great!!!!!!

Nice little skidmarks in front of my house! For anyone looking for a tire that can take EXTENSIVE abuse, look no further than the Bridgestone Potenza RE730s that grace Chris' car.
