1980 Interior light problem need help!!
Well I got the turn signals working on my 80 at last. Now I have developed a new dilemma, my interior lights will not go off. They stay on when the car is running and they will not go off when the engine is shut down. Can anyone help?

I don't know about 80 but when my 82 did that it was my courtesy lite time delay(behind glove box)that had sizzled.51 bucks at Eckler's, and if that is it , to get your lites to go off you will have to unplug it.
Good luck.

What about the buttons in the door jambs? If they're messed up or come loose it can prevent the interior lights from going out. I had that problem on my 73

As stated above the timer delay is bad. Replace it or by-pass it.
