This is a new gas cap lid with integrated crossed flags. How do you mask off the crossed flags before painting body colour?

wow...good luck paul...i saw the fuel lid for 67heaven's car and it looked good but is a pain in the **** to do...not sure how they did it originally, i believe they came to the factory from an outsource already painted the colour of the car...
you might want to ask him how his paint shop did his..

cant remember the name of it but i believe any paint store has liqu id mask. it is usually used on windows it peels right off.

if you put vasoline on all the parts u dont want to get painted it will work. u could put vasoline on the edges and tape off the middle.
