Restoration pics '69
I finally gathered the pics that I have so far. The car is going through a frame on restoration and I started documenting it. Engine, chassis, interior, engine compartment are complete. Now it is getting stripped, blocked and painted.
Take a look.

Gonna be one nice ride when you get it finished. I already like it. Did you redo your own seats?

Re: Restoration pics '69 (Eddie 70)
The seats were completely disassembled, frames blasted, primered and painted. All hardware rechromed, new fasteners purchased. New seat foam and leather covers. The seats were assembled then the foam and covers were taken to an upholstery shop for final assembly. The seats are actually 1976. I am looking for 1969 Comfortweave seats to make the restoration correct. Low on the priority list.
Thanks for the positive comments! New pics to be added soon.

Actually I am a Mechanical Engineer by day and I have started my own auto detailing and restoration business on the side. I have been doing it for years, so I might as well make some $$ at it.

I am helping the painter. I am doing the detail work such as straightening and polishing the stainless trim, detailing engine compartment, bead blasting components and refinishing. etc.

Very nice work!! It appears that you are located just a few miles up the road from where I grew up. I still visit friends and family in the area quite frequently. Mind if I ask what paint shop is doing your body work?
Keep it up, your work looks great! Much attention to detail. There's nothing like an all black car with lots of shiny chrome!!

Did you cut out the glass where the rivits were? It was hard to tell. I have the same problem, but not to sure what to do.
Damn Northern Cars :U . I brought this one down to GA from Cleveland. I used to live in Northfield.
Good luck with the project.
