Geez, I was going to say.... somebody discovered the search function!
As long as this is up, what does the hood look like under the insulation? (1977) Painted black and clean, or will it look worse than the current semi-ratty insulation?

The current ratty insulation is actually brand new from Corvette America. Check the thread, I think it was cut upside down cuz the side that faces the hood is this nice black stuff. But yes the underside of the hood is refinished black and nice and smooth!!

I have done more work since the photos. Installed dynomax headers and new wire looms. I have a pic as you described. But as you can see from my sig that my photobucket account has been hyjacked. I don't know how the pictures from the thread actually stayed on there but I have no host. I can E-mail the pic to you if you want to post it on the thread.
