Rubber from 1-2 Shift above 3500rpm
I recently discovered that "I get rubber in my first gear..." (vs "in all 4 gears..." from the Beach Boys' tune) when the trans performs its 1-2 shift above 3500rpm under heavy acceleration/WOT.
My disclaimer regarding the circumstances under which I discovered this: I was NOT engaged in street racing, I was accelerating on a highway on-ramp into traffic where the legal limit is 70mph and I immediately 'levelled off' once I achieved 70mph cruising speed (1-2 shift occured around 45-50mph followed immediately by a broad grin on my face). :D :steering:
As a footnote regarding my transmission fitness, the trans is 'dialed in' with a stall speed of 1800rpm, smooth shifts under normal acceleration with very positive shifts under LOAD :smash: . I spent the better part of 2002 and early 2003 tuning my 700R4 from Bow-Tie overdrives. My last adjustment involved the installation of their patent-pending carb plate/mounting bracket and TVS cable along with calibration of line pressure. :D

Cool! I can also get 2-3 rubber sometimes. When I was 20 I had a 1970 Torino Cobra that would get rubber on the 3-4 upshift when passing someone. That would give them a surprise. The Beach Boys rock.

My 200r4 will get a nasty 2nd chirp when I hold it in 1st and take it slowly up to about 3500rpm, hold it there for a sec and shift up. then it really chirps good. I think its the delay while holding at a higher rpm gets the line pressure up really high, then when I bump the shifter up, wala..bang, chirp, neck snap, rear squat...the whole 9 yards. Its especially fun to do it while yur in a slight turn. Then the rear kicks out sideways a bit. For this reason the wife is terrified to drive the car when the roads are wet. Shes afraid it will get away from her.
