Default Synchromesh Equivalant?

Anyone know for sure what the equivalant to GMs Synchromesh Transmission fluid is? Is it the same as one of the Dextrons? III, IV, or V?

Thanks for any help. I want to make sure before I fill my Tremec full of something I am going to have to drain.

I'm using Mobile 1 synthetic ATF, Dexron IIE compliant. Most new manuals use Dexron IIE ATF.

Thanks for the reply Markus. I have Dextron III in the garage and was gonna put it in for about 500 miles or so then put in some synthetic. Do you think this is acceptable?

Check the back of the bottle and make sure they also list Dexron IIE.
