Grrr!...Wiper Motor #*!@!
I need a wiring diagram for this thing!@ My '72 is giving me fits! I installed a new wiper motor, but the old wires are all torn up. The original three prong plug is intact and has 12 volts, but something is not working because the motor will not come on. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a '72 they can post?? Need help!!

Don't know if you tried this but the wiper door switches have to be working in order for the motor to come on. The motor will not come on unless the wiper door is fully open. The switch has to be closed in order for the motor to get power.

Actually, the Wpr motor and the blower motor grounds are linked together, and are grounded on the trans bell housing. disconnecting one will not effect the other.

On my car, the wiper and blower are grounded at the bellhousing AND inside the car under the dash. I found this out after I fried a ground wire and had to unwrap the harness. My wiring diagram does not show this additional ground, but it sure is there, and is factory. You cannot have enough grounds on a Corvette! You can disconnect the ground for the wiper motor and not affect the blower, but if you disconnect the blower ground, chances are you just unhooked both becuase they are piggybacked.
