Default Finally installed some Dynomax headers

Finally installed them. They look great, much better than the old manifolds. The exhaust sounds great running straight out of the headers!!! Sadly, I haven't gotten to check out the performance yet. I have to have a new Y-pipe installed, the old one was really crappy, welded in a lot of spots and all, and not to mention, we broke it like a wishbone (oops that ain't good). Now there are a whole lot of clamps holding it together, but I'm getting the new Y-pipe tomorrow. So we'll find out then!! :D

Yeah, I know it would, but money isn't just flowing. I'm gonna ask the shop how much duals would be.

Well guys, price turned out pretty well so I went with straight duals, no x or h pipe, and no cats of course. It sounds just plain mean now. And I can tell its faster, but the brakes are still bad, so I'm afraid to really test her out. But hopefully soon!!!

How much would an H-pipe help? And could someone explain exactly how it helps over have just straight duals? Also will the duals improve my gas milage? (its not why I did it, but I'm just curious)

SCVetteGuy:
you ran true duals? Did you run one pipe down EACH side, or route them BOTH under the passenger seat, where the 'notch' is on the cross-member?
If you DID run 'em both under the passenger seat, does the driver-side pipe have a graceful bend behind the oil pan, or a healthy 'kink' in it?
Ideally, I'd like headers AND the M-A 2.5" stainless-steel true-dual kit, but I'm told the 'bend' on the driver-side would be FAR TOO 'nasty'.....

Glensgages: they both run under the passenger side, for added clearance. It has a graceful bend, but it didn't really have to go around the oil pan, the headers get it pretty much past it, (I believe, if not then really close) then it slants across then under the crossmember and back over. I'm not sure how the mid america duals look to compare for you.
