Wheel hop questions..
I'm experiencing very bad wheel hop and would like to know if this is a common thing. I'm planning on going through the rear suspension over the winter and want to know if that alone will eliminate the hop or if something else is needed.

I'd call VBP and talk out your issues with them to see what they might recommend. http://www.vettebrakes.com
There is also Wardsport locally in Anoka that can make suggestions.

Re: Wheel hop questions.. (MN 72 454)
For many years I never had a wheel hop problem.
I was also using heavy duty shocks on the rear, quite firm.
Then in the interest if ride quality, I went with a softer shock.
I then had wheel hop.
I finally got tired of not being able to give the tires a good burn once in awhile and added firmer shocks.
No more wheel hop.
For me it's a balance between ride quality and wheel hop.

I had the same thing until i switched to some carrera shocks. I dont think you have to have carreras, but definately need a heavier shock!
