Default Brake Bleed Problem!

Just bleed brakes and got hard peddle. Drove a few days and got a soft peddle every so often. Rear master reservior is now low and I do not see any leaks. What is going on here and can anyone tell me if it is possible for a newly bleed system to need more fluid if there are no leaks. Also, I used the bleeding sequence in my 74 GM manual being the rear drivers first, followed by rear passenger and same with fronts. Also, inner bleeders first on rears.Thanks.

MC may be leaking out the rear, maybe leaking into the Booster or dripping from the lower rear. If you continue to have to bleed the system, there is runnout in the rear rotors.
