The 870 block is a 327 block used in Corvettes and other Chevrolets from 62-65. The F 1113 S translates partially as "Flint, Nov. 13" The S is a passenger car code used with Powerglide transmissions. Can't tell you exactly which years. What is the casting date of the block located back behind the distributor? Should be something like A 1 3 Jan 1, 1963 etc. Chuck
