It is a sad sad night....
I am confused... I checked and double checked everything... With much anticipation I turned the key, and all it did was turn the crank over and make some noises, I think coming from the starter... spark sounding. Any suggestions??

Is it a different (new) starter? Usually starter problems are noted by nothing happerning when you turn the key or a click.

Need more info to help. Has anything changed that could be causing a problem now versus before ?

-If it's not turning the crank over quikly, check your cables on the starter. Corroded cables will kill the power going to the starter.
-If it's turning over ok, but not starting.. go back to the basics..
1) Getting power to the plugs?
2) Getting fuel?
3) Timing set correctly?
I made the mistake on the timing a couple months ago, and it backfired and blew my drivers muffle in half!! Duhh.. rookie mistake! :smash:
But I got a good excuse to the wife to switch to new Flowmaster 40's!! :D
If your hearing a sparking sound.... double check all electrical connections. I had a main power post on my starter crack once, and it would arc to the motor when I tried to start it. It turned over, but wouldn't start because the arc was fawling up the signals.
Just some thoughts!
