After 10 months, finally started the '69 again!!!
Well, this has been a long time coming. I fired up the '69 after about 10 months of work. My winter '02-'03 project suffered from quite a bit of "while I'm in there" disease, and I got really busy with work as well. So, here we are already into the fall, and I'm just getting it fired up.
I'll save all the boring details of what has been done, etc. All that's left is to fill the tranny, connect the driveshaft, bleed the front brakes, and get a front end alignment. I hope to be driving it by the end of next week. Woo-hoo!!!!
Special thanks go out to Tom454 for all his help with the muncie. Thanks Tom, I owe you!

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I'm really looking forward to driving the car with a new front suspension, rebuilt 4 speed and new clutch. Should be quite an improvement over the old worn out stuff!
And Redshark, glad to know you are taking my :banghead: in :jester . Good luck on your project. By the way, I'll gladly trade you my '69 for yours if it will help save that original car. Even trade, what do you say?

Alright JB, them thar's Fightin' woids.... :boxing Actually, most of the winter here is really pretty decent. In the past I've usually driven the car at least once a week during the winter. I figure I've got a couple good months left before it gets really cold.
I'll post some pics once I get everything together.

Great news Shannon! Let me know how the first ride is, especially the suspension as that's one of the next things on my list. Drive'n em after they've been out of commission for a while is so cool and rekindles that exitement. Can't wait to see it. :smash:
