Door handle replacement help Q
I've got the old one out and replacing it.
OK, I don't have a 10 year olds hands to do this. How in the world do you get the nut started on the back one? The front one is a cake walk. I'm stumped.
:banghead: H-E-L-P!

find a 10 year old to do it for you. :D
Seriously, there is no easy way to get it on. Make sure you unhook/ move the linkage out of the way, put the nut between 2 fingers and try to get it started on the bolt. Make sure you have a magnetic pick-up tool handy because you will probably drop the nut 2 or 3 times. I know I did.

I know what you are talking about!!!!!
I just finished mine up.
I found out the best thing to do is the back one first.
This way you can kind of lift up on the handle to give you a little more room.
Its just a bad spot to get to.

Re: Door handle replacement help Q (guppie)
Thanks everyone, Job done.
After fooling with it for an hour or so and dropping the nut 2 million times, my wife came home and I asked her to try. WALLA! 30 seconds later she had it started for me. Thank God for wives and small hands.
I want to know where they found a 10 year old to assemble these things on the line. :lolg: Again Thanks All
