What Shocks to use? (For GT Springs and Composite Rear)
Will buy a full set of Bilsteins. THANKS EVERYBODY!
I own a 350/300HP 4 Speed, Without power steering, brakes or A/C
Car has a 340LB/Inch TRW Rear Composite Spring
About to fit 460LB/Inch GT springs (Ecklers)
Currently have KRB on rear and a generic brand on front.
What shocks should I use? Appreciate any advice before I spend more money on parts that don't work.
I mainly drive the car on the street and seldom punish it. I want a comfortable ride that is not "bouncy" like the rear is now.
Thanks.

The consensus seems to be the Bilstein Sport shocks. An archive search will return a lot of activity on this subject. There are several references to how they tamed bouncy handling.

I put the Bilstein's in June, great shocks, handles like a different car and I have the 550 springs up front.

I just put on KYB GasaJust high pressure shocks. It's a HUGE difference from the original, 27 year old shocks that came off. (They were easily compressed and ZERO rebound) I chose them mainly for money reasons ($35 each) so if you have the means, Bilsteins or QA1 are good choices.
