Since I am working in the office these days, and we had a first "cool" morning (69 degrees when I left) in SO FLA this fall, I decided to take the '71 out for some Miami-Dade county rush hour traffic.
It's only 18 miles to work but the traffic, the drivers, the road conditions, etc seemed nicer this AM. I actually enjoyed I-95 and the "Crawlmetto Expressway".
My attitude and demeanor today was better than when I make the commute in my D.D. :yesnod:

I also took my vette to work today, but here in Michigan its a little cooler! High of 50 today, at least the sun is out though and my motor just loves the coooool air............ The warm Florida sun sounds really good right now! :cheers:

Woke yesterday only to find my DD had a flat rt. front tire. Drove my '73 to work. A whopping ONE MILE!! :D Actually that short of a distance isn't very good, the car doesn't hardly warm up :smash:

I have walked home before, a couple years back when the Vette was down and inbetween DD's. Don't like walking "TO" work. :sleep: But walking home, 13 minutes :jester But your right a good excuse to take out the car even though don't need one, just hate to see it sit in the lot (2 spots of course) all day by itself. At home it hangs out next to the Sportster :cheers:
