Re: wide rear tires (ray77vette)
I had MT 12.5 x 28 x 15 sportsman pro wrinkle walls on for a while, then 295's then the present 305's x 50 x 15. I could go a little bigger but I can not find 15 inch radials and not drag radials. I do have alot of work done to the wheel well.
IN this shot both the upper and lower strut rods are removed so the tire is hanging out at the top. The wheel is resting on the lower strut.

Norval, UNFARE< UNFARE>>>>>you got a machine shop....no fare...you play in another league...us mortal vette owners have a bit of difficulty fitting anything even CLOSE to that under our cars.....
well maybe a 275/50/17, but....humm.....maybe IF....humm....gotta go talk to my welding buddy....next year....

Re: wide rear tires (corvettemaster)
I'm seriously thinking about 29x15.50R-16 Only ones available in that size are Hoosier Pro Street Radials, they're available in 15 & 17" insane wide sizes too :D
Norval, do you have pics of how it looked w/ the wrinkle walls?
