OT- Pics from this weekend's offroading fun
Me and a couple of friends went out to play one last time before winter.
Its an abandoned railway line, a run of about 10-15 km's is accesible(barely) by trucks.
Yes a Jeep had to pull me out.... right after I pulled him out of the same pitonly10 feet before I got stuck..... I did eventually make it through. Its harder than it looks when you are riding on you differentials and the person before you had larger tires.

That's awesome.
I have a few spots here that I can take my Montero to. But they are disappearing fast (new construction). I used to use an old industrial site. Nice hills, mud bogs, two tracks. But that's now been developed.
After a good thrashing, I'd take the truck home and wash an acre of real estate out of it. Fun stuff.

Nice little 7 ya got there. We just pulled out the 304 in the Jeep that was with me threw in a 360AMC.....that thing has a hell of a lot more torque that the 304..... makes driving a 3 speed standard almost enjoyable.

Looks like you had a great day for it Mike. I took a brand new jeep cherokee out on a farmers 2 track and got stuck in a snow bank, on my side I could see the ground but on the passenger side you could not open the door. It was late at night and I did not know the property owner. I ended up just slamming it in forward and rev, rocking it till I was able to get out. Never took it out 4 wheeling again.
