What do you call the upper door trim at base of window?
This is the part that has the rubber seal and screws to the inside of the door. I have the old ones. They seem to be 2 part. 1 part is a thin metal strip and the other peice is a rubber seal with what looks like a chrome peice embeded into it. What are these refered to as? Also is the thin medal strips stainless and can I buy the rubber peice with the chrome separate?

They are called whiskers and are part number 602-055 in Mid Americas cat.
I got mine from CC and had to redo one hole that the metal push tab goes into, they didn't line up.
Forgot the other question. Yes the stainless is separate, the whiskers have the thin little roll sandwhiched in.

If this is what it is, http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...N0SM2EP3CCDTC8 I've always refered to them as outter window seals. I don't think the chrome metal part comes with them. Shop around, you can find them cheaper than ecklers. Avoid the cheap $30 ones and splurge for the $60 set. I had a whole lot of trouble getting my windows to operate with the cheap rubber replacement ones. The window was too tight to go up and down despite any adjustment I made, so I went back to my old ones.
