removable rear window leak, how do you seal it (the window)?
I put a removable rear window in my 73 a couple of years ago, and lately I have had to drive it in the rain a little and notice that I have a leak. The leak is not between the metal frame and the car, but is actually within the metal frame. That is, when I took out the window, I could see that the black weatherstrip within the metal frame was not in very good shape. I don't see this piece in any of the catalogs, does anyone know a good way to seal this?

Do you mean the piece of weatherstripping that is glued into the window
channel - and contacts the aluminum rear window frame ?
It should be in catalogs. Maybe you didn't install it when you did the switch.
Here it is at ZIP: http://www.zip-products.com/Corvette...0AC80CA15E2627

That looks like the piece that you glue to the car, right? It looks like the one that seals between the aluminum window frame and the fiberglass. I have that, and it is installed properly. I don't think that is where the leak is. I think the water is leaking inside the metal frame that goes around the window itself, and dripping out the bottom of it.

Thought about that. I'll probably take it to a auto glass shop nearby and have them seal it. I was hoping the weatherstrip/seal for the window was available somewhere. If it is, I'll get it and put it in. If not, I'll take it to a glass shop.
