Default 77 Gearing

I just got my 1st Corvette, a 77.
The speedo has to read 90 to keep up to 70 traffic. I don't like.
What gearing might I have, what should I get & where?
I am conservative/cheap.

You might have the wrong speedo gear in the trans. It's on the drivers side of an auto, and the speedo cable inserts into it. Remove the clamp bolt and pull it out....easy!!!
