What can I use to clean/polish my carb????
I'm going to be selling my Holley Street Avenger carb and wanted to clean it and polish it up a little before I sell it. It was only used for about 4 months before I pulled my 350 for a 383 and a 750 Speed Demon carb, so it's not that dirty. What do you guys use or recommend

I used some mothers aluminum polish on the case with the dremel action and small polishing wheels. It worked pretty well given I only gave it about 5 minutes or so and my holley was dirty as could be. I just smeared a bunch on and ran the wheel all over and wiped it off.

:iagree:
They oxidize again pretty fast though... long term, after I polish, I use the new 1200 clear engine enamel. But the metal has to be pretty well cleaned (lacquer thinner) before you spray.

Thanks for the replies, I'll give them a try
I liked the street avenger, and it ran pretty well right out the box with only minor tuning. It's great for a daily driver with the vacuum secondaries and the electric choke. It's the 670cfm by the way
How did you like the Street Avenger and what size is it ? :seeya
