Default [San Antonio] Hills & Dales Classic Corvette Night

Well folks, at least in THEORY the rains are finally supposed to blow on out of South Texas. Which is good timing, because Tuesday the 14th is Hills & Dales Classic Corvette Night.

C'mon out and join us for a cool, refreshing beverage as we spread blarney and blather all over the parking lot! :D

I'll be there, minus the Blue Slug. It's in storage at my folks' house while my newly epoxy coated garage floor cures for a week.

Hey, anybody up for a late night visit to Michael's garage? A little guerrilla tinkering and we get free beer! :reddevil

Speaking of visits to garages, you guys are in luck.

I can't make it tonight after all. However, I live just around the corner from Hills and Dales, and you can come by and check out my new floor coating. (well, half of it. I'm prepping the other half tonight so I can paint it tomorrow night.) Plus, you can bring me some free beers. :D

Oh - and Scott - you can come visit your new exhaust system.

Well gents.,

It is looking like good topless weather for the evenings festivities. I just got done doing a quick lunchtime run to the car wash to get the previous weeks sludge off the Vette..WOW!...it is awesome out there. It should be a good one tonight. Hopefully we will have a good turn out. Sorry you won't be there Jeff, we will catch you next time at the end of the month.

Looks like I won't be making it tonight after all. The wife is having a case of the come aprts regarding an impending trip to NYC, so I have been thrown on the grenade so to speak. Pending any other melt downs here, I will see everyone at the end of the month.

Sounds like I didn't miss a whole lot then.

I'll be there at the end of the month for sure. Maybe I'll have my adjustable strut rods installed by then, too.

Michael -

I would like to go to the Austin thing, but I can't make it this weekend. Maybe next time.

Hmmm...sounds like the middle-of-the-month crew dropped the ball on the cones. I guess that's what happens when you delegate a task to someone else. :nonod:

I think a lot of us had some reason or another not to go last night. Must have been the alignment of the planets or some such...

Nope, wasn't me going by the car wash. I found someone to handle the boyscout thing for me, and then I started getting some weirdness in the car's electrical system (looking like a bad voltage regulator) and decided a hundred mile round trip might not be the best idea. Won't be able to make the next one, either, but I'll be thinking about you guys while I'm swilling hurricanes on Bourbon Street! :D

I was really looking forward to swilling Shiner in the parking lot last night. The weather was absolutely perfect for outdoor beer swilling and Vette cruising. I knew I should have left straight from work without the cursory stop at the house. I had fun playing my son while my wife ran about like a mad woman trying to get prepped for her trip. See you boys at the end of the month.

I know who those folks are. I think maybe it's time to lower the curtain on this gathering...
