I saw in a magazine where speakers had been placed in the compartment doors on the back deck behind the seats. I've got a lower profile battery but I still don't think there would be enough room. Of course the jack side is no issue.

Any thoughts on this.

I placed a piece of 3/4 shelving across the wheelwells and set my speaker boxes on it so I could still store stuff (like the T-tops) under it. Picture on my web page
