FiberGlass Side Pipe Covers
Ecklers wants $299.99 for them.
This guy: http://www.charlottecountyspeedwayinc.com/sws
has an auction on ebay with a starting bid of $145 and sells them on his site for $179 w/ $50 shipping.
Whata you think?

Re: FiberGlass Side Pipe Covers (OHSIXX)
It looks like he might be manufacturing the things himself, rather than buying from someone else. I wonder how the fit and finish is? I've heard other people mention that the sp covers they had purchased were pretty rough and required a lot of sanding and smoothing to get them looking good. I wonder if his are better? If they are at the very least comparable to Eckler's then they are probably a bargin.
Thanks for the link!

The covers I got from ecklers were smooth as a babys butt and painted up beautiful with little prep required.

Re: FiberGlass Side Pipe Covers (OHSIXX)
Well believe it or not I just received a stinger hood scoop from him yesterday. It looks pretty good although it seems a little lighter (thinner) than normal. There is a small single wave in the top flat surface that would bother me except that I will be cutting and blending in that area anyway. He asked if I needed sidepipe covers and told him I already had those. Seems like a good guy to do business with. Ask him wat the surface finish is like. By the way, he's been in fiberglass work on boats for many years.

PS the shipping sounds high and is his "standard" rate. Find out what it should cost then negotiate. If it helps, I can give you the weight and box size.
