Thanks - what I am looking for in particular is where the ground connects for the lights. I see the connector hanging down and I don't know where it goes. I know for pretty sure that the hanging wire is the reason the dash lights only work on bright and the turn signals light up with the dash lights.

Click on the pic to enlarge it, and you'll see two connectors---one on the back of the tach, and the other on the back of the speedo.

i took the pic today but i just read that you had what you needed...
mine, being a 79, is all different...
