OT service manual arrived today
This just goes to show you how much things have changed, I bought what I thought was 1 of 2 GM service manuals for my 2001 Silverado. what I got was 5 books when stacked on top of each other measures almost 12" high.
The service manuals I bought for my Vette (74) was only a 2 book set
can't imagine what would have come if I ordered the conplete set
Before I ordered from the company in MI the local dealer told me it would take 3-4 weeks. I ordered Monday morning and they were at the door when I got home :hurray:

Re: OT service manual arrived today (71'AirStrike)
Yea I ordered them for the truck to find out if there was anything special I needed to do when I did the brakes (4 wheel discs). I was quate $1200 to do a 4 wheel brake job  at $120 US (about $200 Canadian) for the manual Ive got a ways to go before I hit $1200. the brake pads (Delco) will be $200.
