VBP Aluminum Hubs
Who is running the aluminum hubs from VBP. I saw a post in the autocross section a while back where someone commented they must be torqued tighter than their steel counterparts. I also noticed that there only seems to be aluminum hubs offered for the front wheels, but not for the rears. Any comments on this product?

front and rear hibs are the same apart from the fronts not having the parking brake adjustment hole. You could easily drill that hole.

Ooops yeah, the rotor. I meant you can get aluminium rotor hats, it looks like the VB&P stuff is a an aluminium hub on which the rotor itself bolts, in that case you can only use it on the front. I wasn't reading correctly.
There are aftermarket 2 piece rotor/hat assemblies available, even in aluminium. You could run one of those in the rear, the hub would still be the stock casting.

TT, NO aluminum rotors I ever heard of...period.....
second off, the rotors are NOT the same front to rear, the mounting flange area the bolts go through are differant thicknesses....a design flaw far as I"m concerned....the rears are about 1/4 inch thick in that stud/bolt area, and the fronts are closer to 3/8 thick, making interchange nearly impossible due to differant offsets so the pads will not line up.....don't ask me how I know this, as I tried mightelly to get a rear rotor on the front, and it's a no go....
finally figgered out what in hell was rong.....any other measure, they are identical, so the differances are just stupid...I think someonw messed up decades ago, and that differance just covered their as s.....

Twin Turbo is right about the aluminum Hats. Coleman sells them in any offset and the actual part of the rotor that does the stopping is cast with 7 or 8 small bolts that lock it to the HAT.
I have often thought about going this route myself. The rotors come in any diameter I think up to 14 inch.
But the original post I thought was about the HUB which is only on the front and holds the bearing races and wheel studs.

I'm thinking about hose aluminiu hubs too since they're available in thicker than stock thicknesses, placing the rotor in the same position but eliminating the need for wheel spacers. I'm lacking about 1/2 and inch clearance for my integra 6 calipers.

that's not a spelling error, it's a typo :) .. and my typing sucks so you'll find lots of typos. A spelling error is where you write "too do" instead of "to do" or something like that :D :D :D :D
Clearly the U is located next to the I on a keyboard so this is just a case of a motoric drive error where there was a little error in the X positioning of the finger meant to hit the U (where X as is from A -> ] and Y = from Z -> Q)

Hopefully someone who has them on their car will also chime in???
I was interested in their lighter weight, as well as the ability to get them in different widths so I could forgo any spacers...

How about anyone with experience with aluminum hubs on other cars? I haven't looked up the numbers, but was wondering if there could be any problem with the different coefficient of expansion between aluminum and steel??
