Default Project progress. What would you do next?

I am at the point where I am not sure exactly which way I want to go in terms of what project to tackle next. Here is what is done.

1. All suspension has been either replaced and\or upgraded.
2. Brake system 90% Just need to run the new SS lines.
3. Electrical system all working. FINALLY! :smash:
4. Paint and body work 90%. Just have to paint the hood which I probably want do till after the engine is in. My luck I would scratch it otherwise. :cry
5. Seats, carpet and dash replacement. Done

Here is what is in progress. These will hopefully be complete in the next month.
1. reinstalling power window motor, tracks and windows. 50%
2. Need to have someone come and put in the new windshield.
3. Windshield chrome and pillar weather stripping.

In listing all this what would you guys do next if in my position?

A. Complete the interior. Door panels, rear storage compatments, front console, upgrading center console guages to aftermarket.

B. Start building the motor! :hurray: :D Already have new crank and fully machined block.

C. Rap up any other loose ends not affecting the ability to get the car running. ie rear bumper replacement, getting the windshield wipers, wiper door and all other vacuum systems working.

Or

D. Any other suggestions?

I would go for the engine... That sure would help the motivation for all the other things.

I would suggest that you do C. wrap up all the loose ends while you still have the motivation to give attention to detail. Its the attention to the details that separates a great car from the best. If you put off these things, you may have the tendency to rush through them just so you can drive the car.

Wade,

I agree with Zack. Go for the details to make sure when you do start the vette up there are not loose ends. I'd complete everything you need to do in the dash(while the windshield is out just in case), get all of the vaccum system set, finish the window tracks & system and finish the wiper system. Then go for the engine.

Before you complete the interior I would get all the glass in including the door glass, then complete the interior,at least then the interior can be sealed up to stop dust & what ever getting in.
You will find it easier to paint the hood off the car as well, then you can paint all the edges properly.Thats the way I did it anyway.

Selective editing.... :D

I think that there will be penty of time when it's raining and/or snowing to work on the details. Get it running and driving. It's a car... it wants to be driven!!!

Make sure you have all the clips in the windshield frame to hold the trim on before you install the windshield...

I am going to say get the details done first also. This way when the motor is done it will be time to drop it in and go for it. No looking back this way.
