Hiss from wiper solenoid under dash
I have a hiss coming from the wiper solenoid under my dash. I hear it when I shut the car off. I'm guess vacuum from the system is leaking out of there.
Everything in the vac system works nice and quick with the engine running.
Any ideas? I tried plugging the nozzle that's making the hiss & then my wiper door does not work.

The seat has some dirt on it. Go here on how to fix the problem.

Does your wiper door open when you shut down the car or does it open then close when you start her up? These are tell tale signs of a dirty solenoid. Mine had these symptoms and the hiss and after I performed this procedure all that went away. Good luck it’s a pain to get out and back in but it can be done. I suggest removing the driver’s seat to make it easier to get to the solenoid.
