A Paint Question
Pretty much decided to paint it black. I have considered the downside, but it is gonna be black!
Is there anything special you would do with this area?

EDIT: They must be moving the home pages, so my picture will not post. Was trying to post picture of the "eggcrate."

Re: A Paint Question (OHSIXX)
As you know, black shows everything. However, my paint is a 10 footer, and I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it. Nothing nicer than a black vette. If I was going to repaint, I'd go with black again.
Just my opinion.

Depends on if you're doing it yourself or having someone do it for you. If it's being done by a pro, drop it off and let them worry about it.
Otherwise, with a dark colored car, more than with light color, it's prep, prep, prep, prep.

Black is gonna look good. This is the color I want mine to be. Make sure to try and post the picture again.

Re: A Paint Question (OHSIXX)
the factory colour of my baby was dark metalic blue someone has changed the paint to black, frankly i dont think it would look as good in blue so i am going to refinish her in guess what_ black but with a twist, gold flake is going into the black and pearl coat will finish her off nicely. so yay to black vettes :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:
