Chrome rear license plate
The chrome rear license plate that the license plate attaches to on my 72 vette has corrosion that will not come off. Will it be more economical to have it re-chromed or buy a new chrome bracket? What company sells these chrome brackets?

Re: Chrome rear license plate (yankees1)
If this is what you are looking for, someone always has these on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2435661000
I was surprised to see this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2435903551 . I wonder why this only says 68-70???? If Greenwood has it maybe your local Chevy Dealer has it too.

I spoke with a man at a business that rechromes car parts and he said that the rear license bezel on the 72 vettes was pot metal and he would not rechrome it . He said it would be less expensive to buy a new bezel.

I have a few brackets in for re-chroming (plating) now. The bracket for my AC Compressor is costing $125. :skep:
