Help.. I screwed up my first effort at painting...
I was following Lars's instructions and laying on the DP50 sealer primer and I orange pealed the hell out of the car. I am thinking I had way too much air pressure, not sure but I can figure that out in a minute. Right now, I know that the DP50 is not a sandable primer, however does that mean wet sandable? I wwant to know if I can sand it smooth and shoot the second coat, or do I need to clear the whole thing off and go again... Help Please..
Thanks,

I am guessing you should sand back down to where you were before. When they say "not sandable" I think they mean don't sand the primer then shoot base.
I would send Lars an email and ask him. IM me if you need his email.

Usually the non-sandable primers mean that they don't require sanding before a topcoat. As long as the primer is cured and can withstand a wet sanding, then I don't see the harm if you are going to put another coat of primer sealer over it anyway.

You can sand it. It's just a pain the rear because it clogs up the paper.
If your sealing before primers I wouldn't worry about it and go straight to my K36 or 38 unless they are huge craters. You have up to a week to coat without sanding. If your sealing right before paint, you will need to wet sand CAREFULLY and reshoot.
