GM 350 HO Deluxe
Anyone running this? Was going to just rebuild what I have, but found it has already been rebuilt. Also found 5 of the pushrod tops chewed up and metal flakes in the pan and down on the lifters. I'm not sure it worth messing with. Next stop crate. I know, go ZZ4. I'm already way over what I want to spend on this car. The ZZ4 will be a grand or so more when all said and done.

Re: GM 350 HO Deluxe (Simul8)
Found this one:
50 horsepower upgrade.
This option includes a larger camshaft #24502586 H.O.T. cam, which is designed to run with 1.6 ratio rockers specs.. Duration @ .050 218I, 228 E. Lift 525" I, 525" E. This option also includes option N 1.6 Roller Rockers. Total option price $390.00.
THAT'S 375 HP FOR $3,085.00.
Not bad, more hp than a zz4 for $600 less.

Re: GM 350 HO Deluxe (Fevre)
That looks like and L31 (Vortec) short block with L98 heads. It ought to be a real screamer with the Hot cam, but it doesn't have the forged crank or hypereutectic pistons of the ZZ4. So no nitrous for it! Or very little. It still ought to be a good platform for a lot of torque and hp.
