Default hello everyone

Just thought I would reintroduce myself since I havent posted in a few (?)years. Actually I finally got settled in to a house with a real garage and I can really try and work on my poor old 78 pacecar thats been sitting outside for 9 years.
Anyway my name is Jeff and I live just outside Knoxville Tn. Now that I am actively working on my car I will be asking lots of questions here for you experts. I will try and share my expertise as well.
Right now I am headed out to work on my non functioning vacuum system. Yesterday I took off the side trim and found zero rust under there :) I was worried but the only rust right now is the radiator surround.
Wish me luck and its great to be a part of the community. :flag

Welcome aboard. One thing I've noticed, it seems '78-'82 Core Supports are thinner. Maybe they did this to save weight(and cost for materials too, I'm sure), but I replaced one on an '80 I had(and it was a very clean-no winters car too)and have seen many other '78-'82s also needing core supports. Actually, I thought the job was going to be worse than it was, but it really was'nt THAT bad of a job to do.

Welcome! I can tell you from my own experience (relatively new here myself!), this is a great online group!

I just got my '76 back together after 16 years parked! Good luck with your project - it's well worth it!

Glad to have you with us again. I look forward to following your progress and maybe I can even help a little. I've done a lot to my '78 (repairs and mods) so give me a holler if you need anything.

P.S. I will second the request for pictures. We always like to see pictures.

Welcome back Jeff, it's always nice to have a fellow Pace owner.
I don't have much expertise in anything except enjoying the Vette.
