Hey Guys - I'm Back... Kinda (OT?)
Hi!
Just want to let those who care know that I'm still alive. It's been months since I've had time to post. Only took the Vette out twice this summer and the snow is already flying a little.
While both the 71 and 76 Registries are behind some, I hope to get things updated soon. It looks like I've lost a couple months of submissions due to a computer crash though. If you have submitted but your not in, now is the time to resubmit.
The reason I've disappeared is that I've been setting up a new business. Several months ago I tried a new brand of paint that I really like and is substantially more affordable than other compareable brands. So I'm now the new Valspar / House of Color jobber in my area. This took some time to set up but the doors open Monday! Now it's on to marketing and the day to day operations. But that will probably leave me with more time to spend on the computer as I'm sure it will be a little slow at first.

Hey Larry, been wondering about you. Hadn't heard from you since I sold you that clock part. Glad to hear you are back. Best of luck with the new venture.

Larry, good to have you back, we have lost so many old hands around here that when one of them comes back it is a real reason to celebrate.

Hi Larry, Welcome back and good luck with the new business! Glad to see your back online with your fellow Vette lovers. This is a bummer time of the year for us folks here in Michigan, pretty soon the car will be put away for the winter, and we can start to dream about spring! Tom

Thanks for the good words guys!
Joey, I still haven't installed the clock piece. But since you reminded me I think I'll go do it tomorrow.
Tom, I looked for your car at Crossroads but I didn't see it. I didn't actually enter the show because I wanted to use the car. Went across into CA and around St Joe island. Spent almost two hours on the bridge coming back across. Looks like my overheating problem is really fixed. It never went over 210!
Oh, and I too have missed the dancing girls with the hip-huggers!
