SHE'S DONE!!!!
After 3 months of work (thanks to the guys at County Corvette!!!!) my 1976 baby is all done and ready to come home!
Of course "DONE" in the Corvette world is always a relative term. Are we every REALLY done?
Still planning for new wheels and engine swap. But I need some driving time right now. After 16 years of storage (16 years + 3 months restoring!), it's time for some FUN!
Here she is:

You and the car have been waiting on this day for a long time. Hope the ride home was uneventful. Now get out there and get some seat time. She looks good.

The shop that did the work is called County Corvette. They're located in West Chester, PA. You can check out their website at:

They were a great team to work with and I would definately recommend them.

I hate to ask, but what exactly did you have done? What does the work order say they did? And if you could share, what did it cost roughly? PA isn't too far, and the work looks good. Always looking for a good place to do work.
Thanks and great job.

Great car? What the heck kind of rims are those? I wanted to do the exact same thing to my orange 76. Paint the inside of the rims orange and keep the ribs unpainted. However, I could not figure out who makes or made the rim.

It looks good. Could not see from the pics if they painted the frame and undercarriage, other than the new brakes and bushings. If not, get some POR15 sealer and chassis balck and paint the entire undecarriage and stop the rust etc. Have fun.

It's hard to tell from the pics but they look like Western Cyclone II mags, circa 1980. I have had a set sitting in my basement for a number of years. Here is a pic.
