2004 Calendar featuring all C3 Vettes
I wanted to let you know about a 2004 Calendar that I am about to have printed that features all C3s.
You can get all the details about it, see a sample page, and place an order at:
http://www.c3vr.com/2004.asp
It has various Corvette events marked on each month, including the Corvette Forum Cruise In to the NCM.
They will be shipped in time to make a great Holiday Gift!
In the "Optional Instructions" box on the PayPal page, make sure to mention that you heard about this on Corvette Forum, so a percentage of the sales will go to CF.
Thanks!

Nice idea for an all C-3 calender. I hope you do well with the sales. I'm going to hold out for the Forum calender that may or may not happen.

I can tell you that this was an AMAZING amount of hassle to put this thing together. Basically, no one wanted to talk to me if I didn't want to print less than 5000 of them. And there is no way I could sell 5000 of them. I'm lucky I got 100 people to pre-order one.
It was acutally an idea from a C3VR member to put together a calendar featuring C3VR member's C3s. Another member even took on the responsiblity of finding a printer. However, after a month of two of searching, he could not find anyone. So I took over. I too had a horrible time finding anyone to touch this job. It turns out the local printer who does my flyers for me said he'd do it, but they will be color prints from a Canon machine, as opposed to true 4-color printing. To do 4-color printing for 100 calendars would have cost of $40 per calendar. I don't know about you, but I sure has heck don't want to pay $40 for a 13 month calendar! I don't care what the pictures are of! So, this was the next best solution.
Getting people to pre-pay for it was the only way I could make sure I wouldn't be out two grand. I've noticed that when you ask people "would you be interested in buying xxxxxx?" many people say "YEAH!!!" But when it comes time to put their money up.... they have all kinds of excuses not to pay.
By the way, if I make $1 off of each on of these, I'll be lucky.
Anyway... I'll get off my soap box now.
