Dynojet for Michigan members
I forgot to mention the Dynojet I went to was off of M-15 near Davison. The address is 6006 N. State Rd Davison Mi. 48423. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone, they also have a complete machine shop with plenty of high performance engines being built. Just ask for Tim, very nice guy and he really knows his stuff!!

The shop is just north of Davison MI. It should be about 40 to 50 minutes from you, do a mapquest and plug in there address. They do any tunning you want, Tim is very good with carbs, he changed jets and squirters and power valves on mine. The dyno tells all and you can see the result on the computer. Way cool..

$125 for the first hour, expect about 20 minutes of setup time. From there on its $75 per hour, I spent a total of 2 1/2 hours. My carb was messed up and so was my timing. Well worth the money and the sound was awesome!!!!

Wow. The first hour is kinda steep, but it gets better after that. I think we paid $60 for 3 pulls as a group a couple years ago down on Gratiot somewhere.
Were you doing all the tuning, or were they helping?

I was just a spectator, I told him set the car up right and he took over. Tim is very good with carburetors, in about 3 minutes it was off the car and he was making changes. He is too busy to waste time and our money, I would go to him again in a heartbeat. He is a no BS type of person, he did say lots of guys come in and think they are experts and he just listens to them. But if you really want a good setup I say enjoy watching him work and let him do his magic. He told me about how Chrysler sent up to his shop a 2000 Viper and he did some tuning on it, the result 550hp at the rear wheels! Not too bad

My change was just over 40hp. The first change was the spark plugs, I had a fancy new set of ACDelco Rapid fire platinums, they were too cold of a plug, put in a set of Champion and 18 more ponies. Then he went after the timing and the last thing was the carb. The cool thing about it was you could see the difference in every run. I also found out that the K&N extreme lid really does work, in back to back runs with the air cleaner on the engine it only eats 1hp as opposed to no air cleaner at all!
