Off Topic, Dallas Ft Worth area information
I'll be living in the Arlington area for four weeks beginning next week. Are there any military bases in that area? I'm concerned about having a military medical facility being near the area. Thanks for the help.

There are two possiblilites that I know about locally maybe someone else will chime in. There is a NAS in Ft.Worth used to be Carswell, had B-52's, but they closed it and reopened it as an NAS. I think they have a medical facilty, the other would be in Wichita Falls, Dyess AFB I think.

On the far West side of Fort Worth there is the Joint Reserve base (formerly known as Carswell AFB), and I am pretty sure that there is a VA hospital in Dallas, but I have no idea where it is.

Yeah, I had to go to the VA hosp for something once when I was in the Reserves. It's in South Dallas, just north of I-20

Thanks! I got it a few months ago, but I haven't been able to sell the 76 so I 'll have some money to work on it. Those two colors do look pretty weird side by side in the garage :D
