I currently reside at Camp Pendleton. Im bringing my vette here in November and was wondering if their is a place were vettes meet to associate or race or just talk? If you know a place, I would like to go. thanks :D

Few that are vette specific. there are at least 2 vette clubs in your area - North County Corvettes - basedin escondido and North Coast Corvettes in carlsbad - I belong to the latter and I believe we have several members on base there.

We also do an annual cruise through the base in support of our troops. You have missed out on some of the best cruising as the "Crusin' Grand" event in Escondido ended this last friday.

Well I live well south of Pendelton (30 mins or so) so I am not familiar with the general hangouts up in that area, Everything I am aware of is organized and recently out of season. This doesnt mean that there arent any local get togethers in your area. and of course there is Carlsbad raceway - a local dragstrip

You might check with fellow enthusiasts on base.

If you find yourself down in san diego, let me know before yo come down, if you have time, It is always cool to meet another forum member. I live near Pacific beach which is the center of the barley pop universe in San diego....we could blow the froth off a couple..:cheers: ..you can tell true stories of your time in the the Marines and I'll make poopie up :lol:
