Default Header Install

Here goes!! Started the install of my Dynomax Headers, got the right side close to being ready for install. I want to keep my plug wires underneath but, having trouble figuring out how to route them. Any suggestions?

Also, does the starter need to be removed for install?

Any other suggestions are appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!!

I didn't need to remove the starter when I installed mine, just slide it up from the bottom.

the header install was the easiest job I've done on my car yet.

Is this job something a guy can do without a lift? I hear people say you have to install from underneath. Can you get it high enough with jackstands?

I plan on pulling the engine next year. While the engine is out could they be installed then or could they be placed in the engine compartment at the sides and after sliding the engine in be bolted up.

I'm thinking I'll never get the car high enough to install underneath. :nonod:

check the archives for my header install threads, you'll see i did it in the yard with just a couple jacks/jack stands. I had the car probably a foot off the ground and was plenty of room.

I installed my Hedman headers from the bottom, using jackstands.
I did not remove the starter.

As far as plug wires, can't help you. I see no good way to route the wires under the headers I have.
