The usual reason for a unique color combination (in this case Yellow and Green) is that no one wanted that combination.

That has got to be the UGLIEST color combination of int/ext if there every was one. OMG ugly. If in fact it left the factory like that, some one should have lost their job. I also can't imagine someone walking onto a dealership lot and saying "That is so cool. How much for that one???"
I know we are talking about a time when stoves and ovens where all painted avacodo green but D#*M that is ugly, even for then.
I have no words to express just how ugly that is.
WOW, some one paid good money for that and thought that they was cool driving down the street in that ugly car.
"Hey baby, want a ride in my new car?" I can see it now. Polyester bell bottoms, gold chains etc....
Just nasty Dog butt ugly
Naw your arm off the next morning ugly
Aztec ugly
Puke green Pinto ugly
Fat old women porno ugly

RARE- Nobody wanted it even when it was new.
Considering the rust on the front bumper, I think this one would need a really good inspection of the frame and birdcage. I would bet shot.

5 Grand for THAT?
You've got to be kidding me. My project car was a lot less than that and even though I had a trashed birdcage and was in crummy primer it looked better than that. Especially those under the hood shots - yikes!
He says it runs ... one wonders.

I sent him a email a few days ago asking for specific pics of the frame and behind the kick panels. He has not responded to me at all.
