I had a similar experience with a cat but with a happier out come. He had crawled up on to my motor for warmth in the winter. I started the car heard a load squeal and saw the cat running off.When I popped he hood to look there was a patch of fur the length of the cat stuck to the lid of the breather.

I took my vette to work a couple weeks after I bought it, and when I turned it off in the parking lot, I head a wierd squeek from the front of the car. I opened the hood and there between the radiator and the fan, was a tiny kitten! Thing must have rode there the whole 20 miles to work!! :crazy:
It was a bit scared and singed a bit, but no worse for wear. Needless to say, I kept it, but she runs fast when I start the vette now!! :rofl:

I feel really sorry for the snake. I know it has to be killed but my sympathy goes out to it.

I find that very offensive. I love animals-I have had alot of large snakes. That isn't something that should be shown without warning.

On the topic of things seeking warmth...I had a squirrell become squirrell puree because it thought that ledge under the radiator was nice. Well, when it got hot, the squirrell ran through the running fan (3,000 RPM). I was under the car and about crapped my pants as I heard "BANG" and stuff started falling all around...I thought the engine was going to blow with me under it.
It took days to clean the squirrell guts off my car.
On the topic of things seeking warmth...I had a squirrell become squirrell puree because it thought that ledge under the radiator was nice. I absolutely cannot stand snakes - those pics made my skin crawl. The only good snake is a dead one. And it took out an import! Two snakes with one stone... :smash:
