I bought a set from Dr Rebuild but they are so thick that the vent ***** barely get into the vent housing or the retainer. I tried a set of felts that I found a a hardware store but those are to thick also. I need to call Dr Rebuild to see if they have any sugestions, but I figured I see what you guys have done also.

I also got mine from Dr Rebuild. They are very tight, but I aimed the ***** how I wanted them and figure that the felts will relax over time. The tighter the seals, the more air gets to where you want it.

Just finished doing this. Didn't want to wait for shipping, so went to Wal Mart and bought a 12" square of felt for $.29 and cut them out. Worked fine, and the felt is only about 1/8" thick.

It has been a couple of years since I did mine but I seem to remember having to trim it just a little bit to get it to fit properly. They were still very tight at first, but eventually they will get settle in.

Those sound like the same ones I bought, usually used for furniture feet. I'll try to take a couple of pics later.

Same prob here. Too thick! I took the route that Chevyguy did. Just like new now! :cool:
