Default My best Bubba Fix so far ... cellulose shims

I was sitting at a light killing time and decided to see why my sun visor kept slipping down into my view. I found out that it was a split bushing that just pushes against the rod. I picked an oakleaf off the seat and stuck it in the hold outside the busing. It seems to be fixed. If it droops again I am cutting a shim out of an aluminum can. What do you expect for a woodworker.

If I were you I'd step up to VFP's (Vette Foliage Products) poly oakleaf bushings. Serious sun visor handling for the serious street machine
