OT - My new Monitor :-) :-) :-)
My old 17-inch CRT died yesterday morning so my wife and I made a trip to Best Buy. I would have much rather spent the $500($100 rebate so really $400) on Corvette parts but I guess this will do. It is a sweet 17inch flat screen. Just thought I'd share this with my forum friends.

Flat screen is cool, but I still love my 21" Viewsonic monitor.
Is your car back together? And how's the wife? :seeya

Karen is doing GREAT, ready to pop at any time. The car is back together and I have put about 500 mile on it since the tank change.

Is that the C-5 forum in that first picture? :skep:
I like the flat screens as I have a 19" Viewsonic, but the clarity is not that great... at least the ones from a little over a year & a half ago. I paid way too much at the time($950), but don't buy any of the latest technologies anymore when it comes to computer stuff until something has been out a year or so and the prices come down. Then again... all of the car dealers would be out of business if everyone was like me. The last *new* vehicle I bought was in '86 and still have it.
