Corvette Restoration Kit Phone #
I know this has been post 100's of times but I did a search for the phone number and come up blank. Every time I see the post on this subject I say to myself "I'll call tomorrow" and I never do. Well today I think it's that tomorrow (wow that sounds weird).
Anyone have the number?

Re: Corvette Restoration Kit Phone # (LABulldog)
Thanks Dog :yesnod:
I just called them and it's on its way. She said up to 6 weeks to arrive but she said that it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks based on her experience.
I can't wait.

Re: Corvette Restoration Kit Phone # (BlueL36)
I heard it's not only for Corvettes. also heard they want to know a whole bunch of info. I live in the Netherlands and would like that kit but if they need personal info then I probably will never get it since I can't call that number (the international charge would kill me, I'd be paying like 5$ a minute for it :( ) .. oh and my english sucks LOL :D

Re: Corvette Restoration Kit Phone # (Twin_Turbo)
Twin_Turbo.....I received my kit about two weeks ago and it is invalueable.
If you email me the info including your vin# and full name and address I will call for you and see if they will ship overseas.

Re: Corvette Restoration Kit Phone # (HDIronman)
My kit shhowed up today. Only problem is that they sent me a kit for a 97, not a 77. They'll try again. Anyone need a 97 restoration package?

Re: Corvette Restoration Kit Phone # (SIGNGUY)
what exactly is in this kit???
Depending on the year, it is a combination of the original marketing materials, MVMA specificiations, list of options, general maintenance, the pages from the Black Book for the year requested, Official GM Licensed Vendors, clubs and organizations, and probably a few other tidbits.
But the neat stuff is the specifications. For example, it will tell you how many springs were in the rear leaf spring, each spring width and the spring load...just think specs and its there. Some years will include specs for options such as FE7...but they are not consistent across the years. And of course GM was not consistent with what was included in AIMs so can't expect same in the paper restoration kit.
Restoration kit is really not a good name and actually misleading. Rarely can you glean any part numbers out of the kit...just specs. So don't expect it to detail "How to restore your Corvette" or "How to fix fiberglass." It's stuff you gotta read!
