Center Console Cushion
I just bought a cushion for my vette but I have no idea how to really install it. It came with no directions so I am kinda clueless on how to "bolt" it down. I was hoping to hear from someone who has installed one before.

If it's the one that looks like a "T" there's no instalation, just lay it on top of the console. They stay pretty good and serve the purpose.

it kinda just sits there. Ands you might need to push it up to pull the parking brake up all the way, might.

no fixing required......BTW, my chihuahua fits perfectly on top of that cushion.....and I can still get my arm in there too :)

Going from what has just happened on my '81, I've got a suggestion: Get some of that stick on Velcro & use it to hold the cushion in place, or at least do something to hold it up slightly at the front.
I fitted a new park brake console cover (I think that's what it's called) & the bead on the front edge of the cushion has rubbed all the dye/paint off the new cover. I've now got a Camel cover with a black line across it. It's not a great problem, unless the only reason that you've fitted the new cover is purely cosmetic :(

I really like my center cushion and it just lays there unattached. What I don't like is the 2 cup holder my loving Wife bought me that goes over the E-brake handle :boxing . I have a 4 speed and that thing is always in the way when there is nothing in it - put a cup in it on either side and you just about have to bend your arm at weird angle to shift :( I have tried to lose it a couple of time, but, I always get the "where's the cup holder" question :rolleyes:
